Michael A. Adler is a registered patent attorney who has practiced over fifteen years in the fields of intellectual property litigation and prosecution, patents, trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition, copyright and trade secrets.

Mr. Adler's experience encompasses successfully defending and asserting charges of patent and trademark infringement, unfair competition, cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and appeals before the Federal Circuit. His experiences spans across Fortune 500 companies, midsize and small companies throughout the United States and internationally.

His legal and technical expertise includes litigations and consulting in the fields of electrical, mechanical, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, optical arts, industrial manufacturing and processes, computer software and hardware, and telecommunications.

Mr. Adler also possesses extensive experience in infringement and validity analysis, design around, counseling, intellectual property portfolio analysis, and licensing agreements. He has also successfully litigated product liability cases and commercial litigations.

Mr. Adler is admitted to practice in New York, the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Southern, Eastern, and Western districts of New York. He received his B.S. with Honors, summa cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa from the City College of New York (1980), a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University with Honors (1983), his J.D. from Fordham Law School - Deans List and pre-medical studies at Columbia University (1985).
