Jonathan Cader is an Associate in the Litigation and Bankruptcy Group, located in the Garden City Office. Mr. Cader has extensive background and experience in all aspects of personal and business bankruptcy reorganizations, and was active as an associate member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees. Mr. Cader's experience as a former legal administrator for a U.S. Standing Chapter 13 Trustee gives him unique insight into the judicial and administrative processes of consumer bankruptcy cases. Mr. Cader continues to represent consumer and business debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 cases, as well as representing creditors in both consumer and commercial cases. In addition to representing clients in bankruptcy matters, Mr. Cader has broad experience in both commercial litigation and arbitration, representing clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes, business and personal torts, administrative and Article 78 proceedings, professional malpractice, appellate practice, and foreclosure defense.

Mr. Cader earned his law degree from St. John's University School of Law (J.D., 2001) and his Bachelor's degree (B.A., 1990) from Brandeis University. Mr. Cader is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Mr. Cader has argued matters before the Appellate Division, Second Department.
