Ricardo E. Oquendo's practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, real estate and commercial litigation, government relations, health law, not-for-profit law, and professional licensing and disciplinary matters.

Mr. Oquendo was previously associated with LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae L.L.P. (1993-1996), where he represented physicians, hospitals and nursing homes on the matters of statutory and regulatory compliance, corporate and commercial transactions, corporate formation, structural reorganization and governance, and with Kalkines, Arky, Zall & Bernstein, LLP (1989-1993), where his practice focused on the preparation of corporate documents and contracts for not-for-profit health care providers, real estate and commercial transactions, and hospital acquisitions and mergers.

Mr. Oquendo is a former member of the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York for the 12th Judicial District and former chairperson of the Professional Practice Committee. Mr. Oquendo was also formerly counsel to The Bronx Democratic Party and former Assemblyman Roberto Ramirez.

Mr. Oquendo is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law-Newark (J.D. 1989) and Oberlin College (B.A. 1981).
