Craig B. Sanders joins the firm as "Of Counsel" in the Healthcare Group. Mr. Sanders has a wealth of experience in providing sophisticated healthcare transactional and litigation services. His ability to understand and work with healthcare providers is invaluable in that he brings his own personal, practical experience stemming from his ownership and operation of private medical practices, licensed Article 28 clinic practices, as well as the management and operation of a 212-bed acute care hospital. Mr. Sanders has worked with healthcare clients on such matters as physician contracting, practice acquisitions and sales, partnership agreements and dissolutions, and block lease arrangements implicating regulatory compliance issues such as the Stark and Anti-Kickback statutes. He has also represented providers in administrative hearings before OPMC, OPD and OMIG, including appeals to the Appellate Courts related thereto. In addition, Mr. Sanders is also intimately familiar with all aspects of the CON licensure process including the preparation and support of the applications themselves as well as the post-approval/pre-opening process.

Mr. Sanders earned his law degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Law (J.D., 1993), and received his Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, Suma Cum Honorae in Thesis (B.S., 1990) from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts.
